Mrs. Hoffmaster developed her love of music as a teen under the direction of Mary Ruth Bissett, her choir director for the Singing Pioneers at River Valley Ranch.  From that point on, she sang in church choirs, school choirs, and other professional choirs. She received her BS in Music Education and MS in Human Resources (Educational Leadership Track) from Towson University.  During her teaching tenure at BCPS, Mrs. Hoffmaster taught elementary vocal/general music, wrote BCPS K-5 Music curriculum, and conducted All-County Chorus.  She was also Director of Music Education for the Maryland State Boychoir where she taught voice lessons, music theory, and choral singing as director of the Treble Choir. Mrs. Hoffmaster uses the DOK method, focusing on a multi-sensory approach.  Vocal music instruction includes particular attention to on-pitch singing, diction, musical expression and healthy vocal technique. Mrs. Hoffmaster has performed at churches throughout the East Coast and as guest soloist on missionary trips to India, Russia, and the Dominican Republic. She was also a soloist for the SBC Missionary Commissioning service,  Score International , and a National Anthem Singer for the Baltimore Orioles.
